Platform Six was born of a belief that people should be proud of who they are.

Established in Brisbane, Australia by two childhood best friends our movement is founded on the idea that everybody should feel free and empowered to express themselves. Our sneakers are a manifestation of the belief that no matter your gender, sexual orientation, or identity, all people have the fundamental right to love and happiness.

 

 For the daily dash to grab a coffee in the morning, putting on a basic pair of white sneakers had become an evident staple of ours. It was on one sunny Sunday morning stroll, heeled in white sneakers as usual, that we realised not one pair we owned held any real meaning. 

 

That quickly inspired the idea of simplicity with a statement. We knew we could create a classic, go-to piece that stood for something we care about, in a way that helped the world we love. 

 

 At Platform Six, we believe that what you choose to purchase and wear can make a difference. With every pair of Platform Six sneakers sold, 10% of proceeds are donated to your choice of two important charities.
